Just digging this one back up as I was doing seom research into Samco vx Autobahn88 hoses.

Noticed my car has 710N's fitted (found the invoice in the history). How long are these expected to last for? Mine are around two years old I think. Also, if I get the complete hose kit from eBay or Samco, is there anything else I should be fitting to be safe?

How can I get the system pressure tested?

You can buy a pressure tester off ebay for about £40...or make one yourself. Id recommend the one on ebay though as it is first class.

You can test the two 710n valves quite easily, disconnect the short stubby pipe that runs to the 1-2 splitter just before the valves and suck on it. If it creates and holds a vaccuum and sticks to your tongue for a few seconds...then the valves are ok. If it doesnt then you need to pull the valves out and check which one doesnt hold a vaccuum.

Disclaimer- If you do this dont blame me if you get a drop of oil in your mouth!! Rinse out well...
