quattro transmisson fluid change????

hi guys got a card through the door saying car needs above done at 17000mls ,been serviced by dealer at 13600mls anyone else had this done and what are the costs involved if any?

Hi Shindy, had the same card through the door a while back and when I went back to the dealer they advised me that they didn't know why it went to me and that it didn't need to be done. Had another one through the door about three weeks later and chased up again just in case, but same response. Hope that helps!

same for me, but I have just visited and been advised it is a half day visit and £70 for the privilege - anyone wiser on this one?

Only fluid change i know of around the 2 year mark is a brake fluid change, just had it done myself at the 2 year mark with 16,000 on the clock.

No mention of a transmission fluid change while there though..

thanks guys phoned the dealer they said it was sent out by mistake,supposedly meant for auto cars.
