Hi,
I'm new on here. Had my S4 for a while now and I absolutely love. I am a long standing member on the Vauxhall VX220 owners club and have had a few but felt the need of something bigger for the bikes, kayak, camping gear etc!
The S4 Avant seemed to tick EVERY box and I think it's fantastic. I am still debating on whether to go to West Tuning or MRC for a remap, also plan to get a healthcheck done too.
A few questions, I have a stack of service history which I intend to plough through to check replacement parts etc.
I found this list on an advert for a used S4 on here and was wondering if someone could give me the best places to buy these parts and how much I should expect to pay, anything else I should do?...
- Replaced standard D/Vs with uprated 710n's
- TBB
- 'After Run' pump mod I already have fitted it seems after having a quick browse through the history
- EGT sensor replaced
- Xenon Lights on full beam
- Short shifter
- N245 Delete
Also, just wondered if someone could give me an idea on value really as they seem to vary quite a lot and just in case I had to get rid of it, I think it would be useful.
Spec
1999 T facelift avant Silver
96,000 miles
Full Audi service history except the last one which was a specialist. All belts done and discs and pads replaced, about £2k spent.
Light coloured leather seats (can't remember what the colour's called)
BOSE stereo
Audi Sat Nav
Heated seats
Cruise control
Climate control, xenons etc.
Any ideas?
Hi, just a few newbie questions and valuation please

Do a search for all the various items listed:
'710N' (DV's)
'New N249 Delete' (not N245)
'HID' (aka Bi-xenons)
'TBB' (throttle body boot)
'short shifter'
Car sounds like it's probably worth around the £5k mark in the current climate.

Thanks, realise I should have searched to start with, but coming to a completely new car and forum you have to learn what everything means, what you should have changed on your car when you buy etc. There are always "essential" mods!

There are a few useful 'stickies' at the top of the S4 (B5) forum. Take a read through those, there's plenty of useful info.
Think the 'buyers guide' should give you a brief what's what.
