DRC binned-new H&R coilovers

Hi all
Only been RS6 owner for for 2 months and suffered dreaded DRC failure after just 7 weeks of ownership,(knew it would happen, didn't expect it so soon).
Car had complete new DRC by audi in may 2008,(all shocks&valves),but as work was carried out under previous owners warranty, audi would not repair under 2 year parts guarantee, w**kers!

Bought car from "Fontain" in july and they came up trumps with a new complete set of H&R coilovers. Warranty they supplied only covered £1k towards cost, but Fontain covered the difference themselves, and even filled car with petrol to cover my cost and inconvenience, big thanks to them!
Car was great on DRC until it failed, but am happy to report new H&Rs give equally good ride/handling compromise,(certainly not harsh ride I half expected, DRC actually felt stiffer, maybe due to being all new) and hopefully no more issues, how can audi justify £3k worth of work lasting only 4 months/2k miles?
Have kept ride height as close as possible to standard, mine is "plus" so was slightly lower already, and as said H&Rs give great ride/handling compromise, would recommend to anyone looking to bin DRC. On the minus side my thieving insurers have increased my premium by about 10% due to "modification" actually making car safer, go figure!

Glad Fontain came up trumps for you, think there have been mixed dealings with them from reading some posts on here.

I had the DRC replaced on my car, was previously done under the last owner but audi didn't seem to mind.

I am thinking that there maybe an element of human error during the replacement process (teenage technician at the dealer doing the fitting) at the audi dealer that may lead to post install issues. I definetely got the feeling that they had their fingers crossed during the handover testdrive ! Anyway seems to be working fine at the moment...

Two separate audi dealers told me they would not repair DRC even though it was only 4 months old. Fontain also tried to get audi dealer local to them, to carry out repair with no joy.Hope your DRC lasts longer than 4 months, was great when it was working, but not sorry it is now gone.
No pics of my car yet, raining again here in essex!

Currently considering this also for my plus, since my repairs don't seem to last many months either. I track the car occasionally, but main focus is road usage. I don't want to go lower either.

Can you comment on handling and comfort?

Also, has anyone information about fitting the H&R anti roll bars? They have a set of 32mm / 22mm set available, not 100% sure of whether it fits RS6. And what are the existing ARB dimensions?

H&Rs easily as comfortable as DRC was on my plus. If anything car feels slightly softer, this may be the case as DRC was quite stiff when working fine. It may also just feel slightly soft due to the fact I spent week car was being repaired driving wifes evo 8 with rock hard ride.
Car has noticably more roll but also more feel/feedback with new H&Rs.I'm not sure if springs will compress slightly given time to settle, making car sit slightly lower/stiffer, someone else may have answer.
If you do some track work uprated roll bars would be good investment, but have you considered other coilovers. I was recommended KW variant3 as a good upgrade if I wanted more track biased as they are highly adjustable, and not much more expensive (in UK at least).
