rear anti roll bar link

Post by imolas4uk » Sun Sep 21, 2008 5:46 pm

Snapped a rear anti roll bar link today chasing an 08 996 carrera s,hit a roundabout pretty quick and then hit the throttle in 3rd and bang  had to let the porker go :( .had a look underneath and it broke the N/S/R link, ive got the 22mm H+R bar fitted,i think i`ll be fitting RS2 links now and getting some subframe supports for the mounting points, does anyone know the part number for the RS2 rear anti roll bar links ?

What happens when the link breaks? Does the ARB drop or does the car become unsteady?

Must have been quite a shock!

the antiroll bar stayed up because the o/s link was still attached, but the rear of the car gets very loose, and yeah a loud crack at speed makes my arse twitch aswell as the rear of the car
