Decent Specialist in Herts

Hi guys,

Need to get the S4 off Longlife and on to Interval servicing. The car has FASH (which would be easier as Hitchin Audi is a 2 min walk away) but im thinking a specialist would probably be better than the stealer.

Firstly, can anyone recommend someone/somewhere good in Herts/surround area?

Secondly, as this is the first service i have had on the car, what things are good to have done in the service, i.e. specific oil type etc?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Synta gold oil is good....ask for it.. Have them do a boost leak test, even if this is good and all ok, still have a look at the spider hose and the F hose.


The throttle body boot is a weak point on these cars, and you can have a silicone or better the APR fitted.

Audi were really tight on the waxoyl on theses cars, loads rust on and around the subframe at the rear... get a gallon and the pump kit, or get someone to cover the whole car in the stuff.
