ditto that - the most i've had out of a set is 14k miles and i drive with enthusiasm. last set of Goodyears lasted 12k miles including a couple of track days.
M3 CSL - Silver Grey, a few options.

Im running 32psi all round on my 235/40/18's filled with Nitroflate too.

I think Riz holds the record for the most distance covered on a set of tyres. Do u get worried when u go over 30mph??

Remember Riz the steering wheel turns the front wheels so u can go round corners and its not just there for u to rest ur hands on and drive in a straight line !!

yes i know how to drive around corners too..... im sure you lot will find out oneday..... to be honest i cant see me doing more than 20,000miles on this set of tyres....

When i drive to work and back ( <5miles ) i dont need to go fast around corners so and the only time i speed is when its safe or on long straights..... im a careful driver thats all people.....

p.s. ive done max speed in my S3 which aint 30mph

So far i have done approx 17,400miles on my 18" tyres without any problems regarding wear/grip/use etc.... they all have 5mm tread left on them and are all evenly worn across the pattern.

about 1Ok miles on the last set.........with the shoulders burnt off halfway down the sidewall(as several people who saw my car on the QST stand at GTI International passed comment on!LOL).
I dunno how you do it Riz,I wish I had your running costs.
Maybe those bespoke trainers afford you a more delicate touch on the pedals than the likes of me........

I`ve always kept to the specifications in the fuel cap of 36PSi. I did the same with my previous car and kept to the recommended figures.... i did around 24,500miles on my last set of tyres which where 16" Michelin Pilot SX Sports for my 206GT.

Cheers Riz, puts my mind at ease a bit.
Thanks mate.

You definately must drive like an old woman
9,000 miles out of my last set of Toyo's. The MOT tester wouldn't even take it on the road to do the brake test as the front nearside was soo bad and through to the canvas !
