Down Pipes Woes

Post by GDS968 » Fri Sep 12, 2008 10:38 pm

Looks like one of the cats in my down pipes is internally loose as its resonating and driving me mad. Ok so can anyone tell me what route they would take to fix this ie buy new miltek or similar down pipes with 100 cell cats etc or go no cats (however I do need the car to get through an MOT legally!).

Any advice welcome. cheers

See if you can pick someone's old DP's up and get the pre-cats removed. I sold mine (already de-catted) for £80 a while back.
Never had a problem at MOT time with those on.
