Exhaust-Swap costs?

Post by S25MRS » Fri Sep 05, 2008 5:50 pm

I've found someone who's selling their B6 S4, and is willing (subject to further 'chat' about price) to exchange his 6 month old Milltek Catback for my standard Catback, as the dealer he's P/X'ing with is stinging him a bit on the trade in.

Just wondered what kind of price to expect to pay to have both exhausts removed and re-fitted? Any ideas chaps? Obviously I'll try the 'how much for cash' option, anyway......

No more that 1hour per car . I'd put a car on each ramp and it's a swap so more like 1 hour.

As grizz says an hour max, the only donwside is that the lifetime warranty that comes with a Milltek will not be transferred and is only valid on the car the system is riginally fitted to. Check to see if it is in decent nick as Milltek have suffered some quality issues, particularly on exhaust tips both on S4 and RS4 systems with pitting.
