Unless you know the battery is new'ish. Both my S4 & RS4 needed new batteries within a few months of the after-run pump mod - both were 4+ years old though and had already had a good innings.

I've just spoken to a main dealer services dept. about maybe popping in to have the G62 sensor replaced....

Firstly, they insisted it undergo full diagnostics - ok, fair enough - but it would be an hour of labour - £126 + VAT, before they decided what would actually need doing...

So then I asked if I could just buy one - she quoted me a cost of £150+ just for the part!!!!

I said thanks but no thanks. :dung:

Oh, and I got quizzed on how I knew what was wrong, so I explained the DTC on vag-com and the car's symptoms. I was then told that the engineers had NEVER heard of vag-com and had no idea what I was on about.

It really does make you worry about the main audi dealerships...
