8D0 615 311 H 1 Front brake splash shield (L)
8D0 615 312 H 1 Front brake splash shield (R)

They are about 50 quid each if I remember rightly.

Thanks Jonny X.

Just in case anyone looks this up in the future, the RS4 B5 Rear Splash Shield part numbers are:-
8D0 615 611B
8D0 615 612C

And they are about 60 quid each.

On a related note, I have RS6 brakes on my S4 and presently have no brake splash shields. Is it possible to fit some larger ones, say from the RS6 or is there no room?

You can fit the toureg splash plates and cooling ducts to both the B5 S4 & RS4 - do a seacrh for the part numbers on this forum. The splash plate does need a bit of trimming tho.

I might do this - in heavy rain with standing water (motorways) things feel a little "odd" sometimes when braking and I'm convinced it's related to not having any splash guards?

Second that. I have upgraded to B5 RS4 fronts but presently without the splash shields, and find that in the dry I have more confidence in them than the standard setup, but less in wet, as there is a nasty delay in brake effectiveness.

This may be due to lack of splash shields and the time taken to clear water, or perhaps it is the aftermarket pads which need to be warmed up?

Either way I am waiting for a set of 4 shields (which are on back order) before adding them to the font and doing the matching upgrade to the rear.

Thanks - good link - I'll look into this for my RS6 setup as the RS4s won't be big enough. Thanks... Another Bristol owner here too...
