No joy.... Got a resistor from the scrappy and another climate control module... all hooked up and still nothing!
I have no idea what it could b. Checked fuses, everythin else works.... Guess I'm just gonna have to wire it in manually and use the new switch I also picked up at the scrappy!! FUN FUN. Now I gotta sort my boost problem...........

Ok another fault if i remember was that the plug coming from the aircon needed re soldering at the heater end so check with a multi meter at plug and poke test the cable a bit further down too

So there I was, getting aggitated and flustered. Fan would work while in my hand but not in the housing.. I tried the old fan... nothing. So I shook it outta frustration and it kicked! I shook it again, same reaction...
So I thought back to the thread and how there was mention of brushes bein worn on cars over 100k miles... So i dug deeper and my brushes were in fact worn to the thickness of washers! and the ones in the newer fan were pretty bad too. So obviously when in the housing the brushes weren't being pushed in far enough and no contact was being made! I turned em 180 n tried it... voila! breeze. So I followed the ebay link and ordered some new ones. Cheers 4 ur help guys! got there in the end!
