Maybe I'm wrong, but is the owner of this company not Roland Gumpert, who was the Team Manager for the Audi quattro rally team back in the 80's. Hence the strong Audi link with this car???????

You are right about Roland, he was a big wig at Audi during the rally era along with Mr Hohenester http://www.hohenester-sport.de/
Gumpert use our Traction control and timing equipment for the Apollo and it DOES need traction control, no matter what they think or say on topgear.
