My guess is, it will cost more than a lot of B6 S4's are worth.

Interesting link, love the idea of more grunt but what's fuel hit

The forum post linked mentioned at the end some seals deep in the engine that Audi America are finding problems with. Anyone know anything more about this?

Guy I have not bought one I just came across the thread and thought it would be of something to chat about and hay someone might buy one.

Also PES is also developing one too but no info on that right now.

Sorry thought that you did.

To be honest if in the past I considered such upgrade (from MTM for example). Now I believe it might be a bit too much taking into account how old is the model versus keeping that money to buy something else.
I am surprised to learn that someone is still somehow working on this engine. I would understand that for RS4 version or S5 as they share a lot with the R8 model...
All those kits that I heard about were expensive. The funny thing is that most of them used to describe the update as quite basic in order to ensure reliability.

In the links you gave I did not find many technical details. Do you have more elsewhere ?

Post by EvlD3mon » Mon Aug 11, 2008 9:53 am

I am leasing an 08 S4 I love it but I want more power? should I start mods and keep it(suspension, brakes, engine) or just enjoy it and finish the lease and look for an RS4 coming off a lease? what do you think?

Are you allowed to modify lease cars?
