Depends what he means by "genuine" if he buys the bits from a Main Dealer I reckon they will set you back about 600 quid, from an independent genuine parts retailer more like 400. I wouldn't have thought more than 5 hours labour so work it out.

The only thing I would say though is I would rather pay top money to someone who knows and cares about what they do than try and get it done on the cheap.

If i was looking at replacing the brakes i would upgrade and it would prob cost less than that.
