Blast in Lambo

Post by al'srs4 » Sun Jun 29, 2008 9:31 pm

Went on one of those rally driving days last week. Did a few laps in an Evo and then a Scooby. Then had a go in a Gallardo, didn't seem that much faster than my RS, although the sense of occasion definitely made up for it.
I would have loved to have taken my RS out on the track just to get a real comparison between the two. The Lambo was a bit tail happy when applying the power out of corners, but great fun though.

...and that gear selector grid thingy, its enough to syke you out - the thought of picking 4th by mistake instead of 6th is just nerve wrecking.

Anyone else wragged the arse of a lambo - if not do so.

:jump:
R32 DPB 58 (bl**dy recession)
RS4 Avus Saloon (07) B7 (RIP)
M3 Conv (feel the rays)
M3 Saloon (back in the saddle- yes)
325i M sport (my wife's idea)
Impreza STi V5 (cheap Jap power-great)

Yeah, I've done the Diablo, Ferrari 550, Astons etc. I really liked the Ferrari for sense of occasion. The Mercy's clutch was busted.

Dude i went to collect a freinds gallardo from london last week ....i have a B7 and i can assure you there is no comparison in performance between them..
Driven E Gear hard, murcielago...etc etc... I love Audi quality but a B7 RS4 is not a supercar .

It's funny but I don't like the looks of the gallardo, looks too much like a toy. LP640 now that's a supercar.

Of course, what you really need is a Reventon...
