The nearest garage to Zurich that specialises in RS4's that I know of is here in England. Sorry, that is no help to you at all is it?

If there are no indy garages near you, maybe you'll have to use a stealership.

As for VagCom, you can buy the genuine leads and use your own laptop to run diagnostics...it might be a wise investment for you anyway so that you can check your car regularly yourself. If it shows faults then some of them you may be able to rectify yourself and so save you time and money in going to a garage.

Sportec garage may be an option. They're close to the airport. I have VAG but cannot check anything else. I just use it for peace of mind before I take it to the garage...to avoid 'misscomunication'...

bastos - if you already have a laptop then the £180 (or whatever it is nowadays) that you invest in a genuine vagcom lead will be the best money you ever spend on your car! As R12 says, it saves "miscommunication". If you have other VAG cars in the family it can be used on those too.

Here is a list of distributors: http://www.ross-tech.com/distributors.html

You can also look into VAD (http://www.vadmobile.com/index.htm). If you have a PDA (plus proper cable) you're set. Ross is a good option as well as mentioned by Paul; it is indeed the best money you can spend.
