Exhaust: Audi Quattro GMBH vs MTM tru-dual

Post by andream88 » Thu Jun 12, 2008 11:28 am

Hi guys.
I'm currently running a Quattro GMBH exhaust, the one with the black tips.
I have the possibility to swap to a MTM tru-dual cat-back.

I do really like the sound of my current cat-back, no drone at all and the sound volume is still acceptable.
What about the MTM one?

Thanks...

Andrea

Can you post a pic of your current exhaust please, so I can see the difference between stock and Quattro GMBH?

Thx

The only difference i can see is the centre silencer has been replaced with a small resonator.

very cheap to get that done at any custom exhaust shop, then you will have a full stainless system..... that big centre box is the same as the S4.... its alloy-steel mix box....the pipe and the rear box are stainless on the rs4.

could be a nice cheap upgrade.

Like I say for a single system the pipe size is good, on the standard rs4, just get the middle box replaced and you have yourself a decent full stainless system. for a very good price.
