Had a few problems, not any seized bolts, had to belt it firmly home, after I removed the overspray of paint on the inside of the flange mount and sensor mount, one bolt went soft on final turn, buggered if I was removing it again, that was the quick bit...
Other issues include, repair the front o/s front cover as the whole encapsulted nut had ripped out, made a tasty stud repair which pulled the cover together again and reposition front pulley covers as they had jumped forward and werent located correctly, also were melting against the inside of the front pulley....... :smile_smoking:
happy dayz .... party ....

Just to make sure before I order: It does fit on pre-facelift?

Think it's strange that this is bolt-on for some when others have do drill?

Fitted to my facelift 2000.

It was quite difficult but mainly just fiddly and I couldn't quite get one of the lower bolts back in as it didn't line up as well as it should have. Got there in the end and all was well but it took me a good couple of hours I would think...And quite a few cut fingers...!

Thanks. It seems the hose kit I installed altered the angles somewhat. The result is that both lower mount point on the plastic tubes has broken, moving the left one onto the fan... Kind of fixed it with a longer bolt and a big washer, but will order a BiPipe ASAP.

Installed! But a couple of bumps:

1. Right lower mount point broke off the cambelt shield. Not sure if it's because the round shape didn't line up or the pipe just is to hard to bend until it settles. Seems the fan doesn't touch anyway. Not sure if I will try to replace the cambelt shield.

2. Forge resirc. valves are positioned to high to refit the front engine cover. Will pinch the vacuum hoses if I press it on. Not sure if I should try to cut the hoses or turn them around. Someone told me that they're supposed to be horizontal, not vertical?

stock is the other way around - you can trim the right angle silicon hoses a bit to make them sit a bit lower

Every S4 I have seen has the DVs 'horizontal'. I think the point is that the air pressure comes from the bipipe side, and the way Keihin has them now this will be pushing directly against the piston and maybe could force it open???
