grommets or entry into the passenger side

Post by S4 » Sat Jun 14, 2008 8:25 pm

Hello,

can anyone tell me if there is any access from under the bonnet or under the car into the passenger side.

Of course I know of the main loom entrance on the drivers side, where the ECU sits.

but is there any decent places the other side that wont leak.

Thank you

Darren

Hello, yes what for....

well I need to run some cables that I don't really want to join, as I want them to end up near the glove box.... Looking for way in, that is not to hard on the passenger side.

what dont you want to join? I was working on a b7 cab the other day and there was a pop out grommet block underneath the wheel arch liner but was covered from the inside . Cant remember if there is one on the b5 . Like everyone else i go through the ecu box even 0awg goes through easy

See the large rubber entry to ecu box? easy to go through , take the lid off the ecu and you can practically stick your arm down it. hope this helps sorry no pics
