buying guide! help needed s3 or s4??

hi guys am new to the site so not sure what to do really!

bottom line is i have got around £7000-9000 depending on how much i get when i sell my car.
im after a quick reliable overall good car
and cant decide which to go for an audi s3 or an audi s4 cannot decide at all!!!
any help people!?!?!???

An original S4 is not reliable at all :P

not with 9k, lol.

if you're near york tomorrow come find me and my bro as i have an s4 and he has an s3 and we'll take you out in both and make your mind up.

s3 is more aggressive, s4 is smoother, more refined but just as quick. both are mapped.

Doh! fair point :assflash:

Maybe the gentleman should qualify his statement a bit better then - I'll suggest the following for starters........ The S4 is not intended to be as reliable as the good factory intended should you wish to remap it to 320BHP and rag it around Castle Coombe all day at 6500 RPM :roll: Otherwise a simple remap and normal to spirited road driving should see the S4 as reliable as any other if cared for properly - and it is a proper quattro :D
