RS6 Wanted

Post by Jess » Sun Jun 08, 2008 6:02 pm

Hello everyone,

I would like to buy an RS6 with Audi Warranty. My budget is £18000 and for that figure I think I should be able to get a 2003/4 with upto 45,000 miles. (max 2 owners)

I dont' mind saloon or Avant. must have full ASH and at least 2 months Warranty remaining.

I don't want to offend anyone with the buy price, just trying to get the newest and lowest mileage (best) car I can.

The more extras the better. No accident damage/ repairs please.

Thanks everyone

J.

Hoping there are a few owners perhaps looking to upgrade their RS's and maynot be offered what they were expecting from the Stealers in px..

They're dropping all the time at the moment so give it a couple of months.
Buying now is a recipe for disaster with fuel prices/tax going up and all that.

Thanks for the offer L,

A little more money than I want to spend. Good luck with selling the car.

Been getting some insurance quotes,

Admiral coming in the cheapest at the moment. (I am 39, live in OuterLondon, 0 points. 1 claim in 3 years) at £740 pa. with a £500x

I have been looking around this site, and am having problems searching and finding any info on this board.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

J.

I haven't seen an RS6 for 18K. You will struggle to get a good one for that.

A lad on here was saying only the other day that there was a CAT D one for £15,500. People remarked at the time that it was a good price...

You only want to pay 2 and a half more than him for a low mileage, warrantied 2 owner car???

It's unlike me to be blunt, but seriously, you must be joking.

I see what you mean matey. Tax is a killer and whilst I do begrudge it and am peeved at the situation, if you can afford an RS6, £400 isn't going to break the bank. Buy a good one - mileage is to an extent irrelevant. Mine has done 90K now and is as new.

I use direct line -belive it or not they have been really good.
Miles on the cars are ok considering the age of them, as long as got warranty to cover u. (Mi 8) ne has....!)
