Talk to Ed at APS in Brackley, he got mine, Im sure they can get hold of one for you & fit it. It is best to have a remap done at the sametime anyway to take care of the high end running..speak to Ed he will explain it all to you.
APS are extremely knowledgeable, I thoruoughly recomend them

Just installed last week

Post by grendelswr » Fri May 22, 2009 4:30 pm

I just recently installed this intake into my car myself. The install was pretty easy, except the hardest part (besides trying to understand what the Japanese were thinking when they tried to translate) was taking the old airbox out of the car.

THE DIRECTIONS SUCKED!!!! spent half the time looking at the picture to figure out what I had to do.

Overall, I love the intake. Looks awesome, sounds awesome and has more of the throw you back in your seat feel. Sound does kick in big time at the higher rpms (5000).

Anyone need advice or questions, just ask. Also, this is the only mod I have done to my car. Need more money for the exhaust, downpipes, remap, etc.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Only con is the price. Paid $1535 including shipping.

I have just recently took mine of my car, and I agree with you, they are a awesome piece of kit, sound and performance wise, did you get the crank case breather filter too with yours?

I sold my Milltek to a guy from the forum, and out of a mad moment I offered him the GruppeM too, and he took it, I was in 2 minds to sell the car so I wanted a quick sale, however im now going to be keeping it, the guy who bought my GruppeM will sell it back to me (thats how much I liked it), I was wanting to run the OEM exhaust with the GruppeM and remap, I think that this would be a great set up.

would be interested to see and hear the differance is it very intrusive while crusing on motorways or dose it just come in when pushing the car above 5000 revs as perviously stated?

That other little K&N? I would think that's for the intake for the air pump used at startup. The original fitting to the airbox would now be gone.
