Hello from the sticks - Hampshire UK
Hello
I'm a another new user and have been since 25/07/03, but due to a lack of co-ordinated button pushing skills, I haven't managed to do anything except browse sofar. However, a couple of days ago, after solving my password problem with the aid of my wife, I managed to post a question in the wrong heading. This was pointed out to me by Jon, I think, but I lost his reply and my original post in the ether as I was attempting to edit and copy it to the right slot. My apologies to all for such an inept start.
My car is a black RS2 WITH 130000 miles on the clock that I bought from another user of this site; James from SE London.
From now on I hope that I can get to grips with the technology as it's obvious that there is a wealth of knowledge on this site
Regards
Phil

Hello David
Thanks for welcome. I have some problems which I will be putting on the forum soon.
As you are in Berks can you recommend any service outfit that I could use - I'm in Basingstoke area, but I don't mind travelling for decent service & good advice
Regards
Phil

Hi Phil - another Home Counties RS2 owner here.As you are in Berks can you recommend any service outfit that I could use - I'm in Basingstoke area, but I don't mind travelling for decent service & good advice
For servicing I can recommend QSTuning in Haywards Heath (www.qstuning.com).
Re: Hello from the sticks - Hampshire UK
All my servicing and repairs go through a local audi specialist called autopool in iver they are next door to fontain, i walk back from there workshop its that close to me.
They are spot on and know more about rs2's than i could imagine. 01753 655011. hope this helps
But i would of thought qst was closer ? isnt it ?

All our various Audis have been serviced at Martins in Basingstoke (Hatch) - but I get most of the parts from Martyn at VAGparts and then just get them to fit them for me!

Hi Phil
Glad to see there's another RS2 out there with over 130,000 on the clock! Bought my beastie with 121,000 on the clock in February and somehow seemed to have added another 10k already - must be something to do with the smile factor driving such a beautiful car!
