Newbie, S3 Headlights, Help!

Im a regular poster on other Vag forums and came across rs246.

Im hoping to get some help with my room mates S3...

We have moved to Germany and having registered the cars over here are required to buy continental headlights...

The s3 is a 52 reg with xenons.. I heard that they could be 'switched' over to left hand drive rather than buy brand new units for €€€€!!! It briefly mentions this in the manual but doesnt say how you'do it???

Hope some one can help cause lhd cause he'd rather be spending his money on a turbo back exhaust or some nice bbs wheels

You can't swap the headlights from LHD to RHD. There is a lever inside the headlight unit that flattens the beam.
