The Corsa's I have are very discontinued. I got these last 4 a year ago, and have tried to get more, to no avail.

Didn't think the Toyo semi slick R888's (19's) were out yet...?

The R888's that I am talking about (I think) are 265/19's. What's the performance of R888's like?

Would you be able to get me a set when they are available ? Oh, and cost please.

Regards,

Mac

I did see the B7 with Carbon Dymags - absolutely gorgeous! Would love to know what they cost/weigh?

He was staying at the same Hotel as us, but never managed to catch up with him.

The dymags are if i recall a grand each, last time i priced them up for a customer. The weight is so light that one race team calculated the wheels alone gave an equivelent of 40bhp gain!!!
Mind you the one on the RS4 had been kerbed....how gutting!
You need to run 265/30/19 tyres, but as you say nought available as yet.
Best combination for grip / cost is Yokohama Advans.
I usually have these in stock, but they are by no means a track tyre, like the R888. More like an extremely grippy road tyre.

Thanks for the link to the snap S4INT > - I had searched by date and the snapper incorrectly uploaded it with the 19th and not the 18th - I was in Zurich then ;-)

- As for being a T@rt - You know me Webbo, any excuse to get some unwanted attention! Paid off though, as the other cars in our group that weren't stickered up yet didn't get any snaps taken on the ring!
I must admit that the Worthersee tour has re-enthused me for my R32 Turbo... and I'm also tempted with the new 'rocco - Now do I keep the B5 or not?

Cheers Guy

Hi Guys, the red B7 RS4 was running 265 35 18 Dunlop DZ02,s ( I know because its mine ) wheels are RS4 optional 18,s which gives you a greater choice of road legal track tyres, I have also run Toyo R888,s the dunlops are hard compound and have hardly worn, the toyos are a softer compound with slightly less grip and wear a lot quicker, (wheels and tyres are for sale if anybody is interested) going back to 265 30 19 Pilot Cups dammed expensive but by far best road legal track tyre for B7 RS4 at the ring. See you in July for our next ring trip. Regards Pete

Hmm, new scirocco looks - 'okay'.
nothing as good as the original, or the Corrado imo.
Its nicely priced though. One with an R32 engine in it, or even 4x4 would be nice 8)

Yep, that was me. Had a great time but did not get to speak to any fellow owners.

Saw a couple of other B5's but all the above.
