panic over! They've put it down to the clutch pipe and they're replacing the clutch, flywheel and clutch pipe under warranty which is nice for the new buyer!

RE: I would like info on the RS4 B7 clutch hose bulletin...
Only had it four weeks but I feel my passion is fading.
For those who dont know I work in car sales and finance but I deal with a hell of a lot of motors, from one extreme to the other. Everything from little peugeots and similar right through to 'raris, astons and similar.
At the moment I have £8k cash tied up in the car and with only being 21 I'm currently paying 400 a month on insurance (I know but I'm young!) and £400 on my finance plus I spent £600 in fuel this month.
I like the car its great but it just doesn't give me the buzz I was looking for to merit £1400 a month plus £8k equity plus servicing and tyres etc. Rather than getting in and enjoying it I get in and think "I could have a house for less than this" and it puts a downer on things so I'm looking to tone things down a little. I can afford to run it but by the time I've finished, that and normal day to day living I have very little left and it makes me feel ungrateful for my position in life. I could use that money to save for a house while I'm still at home with my dad. Over two years alone that's £41600 including my equity before tax, tyres and servicing so call it £44000. I could have a 2.0 TDi S-Line 170 A3 S tronic on the same year and it cost around £19000 including insurance, deposit, finance, fuel and maintenance for the two years.
£25k is a BIG deposit for a house in my area where I'd only need to be looking to pay £150k for a good first time buy. That £25k is purely savings from changing car alone nevermind any additional funds I save!!!!!

Whatever you do... don't tally it up for your own cars or you'll all be driving oil burners! LMAO
It doesn't help that the RS although a nice car, isn't special to me because I see high end supercars regularly and the power and spec differences are overwhelming.
For example....

Kinda put a downer on the RS dont ya think? LMAO

Fu(k me that must be the most reasoned post I have ever seen on this forum
get a mk1 golf with a 16v engine in or a 205 with a Mi16 in and enjoy cheap motoring with all the thrills of supercars, if not more. you just wont be able to impress the girls quite as much!!!
