Whilst reattaching my front driveshafts last night I noticed two things:
1. The ARB droplink bushes are wearing rapidly since the addition of a H&R front ARB. Does anyone make any tougher droplink bushes?
2. The mounting points on the chassis are adjustable on my car! The front lower control arm has a choice of two holes and the rear control arm mount has been modified previously. The car was lowered by AMD it looks like they moved the mounting hole inwards so that the wheel keeps the standard camber.
Now, if I mount the control arms on the outer two holes it puts a lot more camber on the front wheels - I've not measured it but it looks like a goer for track days.
Has anyone else adjusted their front camber? How did you do it? I know Doug has mentioned adjustable top arms. I've never seen any for sale though.
Could I run with the camber adjusted by pushing out the lower control arms? I mean will running the drive shaft 1/2 inch longer destroy the cv joints? They do have some extension built in to the them, but can they do this?
