Salvaged parts.
Here is another ... http://forum.rac.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1863&page=2

Busy afternoon hereCat B is where the vehicle is no longer safe to put back on the road and must be broken or crushed. These can oly be sold to registered dismantlers with an EPA waste licence. They are actually sold as parts and are no longer considered as a vehicle. There is no economic consideration involved, purely a safety one. Vehicles that have been flooded are normally written off as a cat B.

Good luck on getting a decent payout what with the current climate and car prices have dropped recently. Well worth sending them some information about current vehicle prices from say Nick J's list to get a better payout price.
