RS2 VIN number question

Im a huge fan of the RS2, so much so I have located all 13 RS2s that reside in New Zealand.

Interestingly all the cars bar one have VIN numbers such as this:

WACZZZ8CZSZ00****

But one has a different code listed below:

WACZZZ8CZRZ02D***

Can anyone tell me why?

I have heard rumours that it might have been an Audi test mule but I cant see why a RHD car would be required for testing and also why it would find its way into public hands, and in NZ no less?
