I know. What I meant was my earlier post said I have no points, ergo I must have gone on the first course you mentioned (otherwise I would have 3 at least)

Anyway the thought having to be seen in Suzuki Wagon R+ would put me off speeding for life :)

The longer I look at this pole the more it amazes me that currently 73% of respodants say they have no points. Where do you all live - Germany!!
I'm in Lancashire and the place is riddled with statics, which are fine if you know the area, but what I can't cope with is the massive amount of mobile units. They seem to have spent the last 7-8 years installing the statics -getting plenty of revenue. But by now most people are aware of the locations and slow down, so they now have to look for additional ways to catch people and bolster revenue.

I may be a tad synical but how often do you see a camera right outside a school, they are normally at the end of a straight or somewhere where the road widens or looks like it should have a higher speed rating. Anyway, not wishing rant I'll end, but honestly I wish 3 was a crowd, at least it would make feel better !! :notworthy:
R32 DPB 58 (bl**dy recession)
RS4 Avus Saloon (07) B7 (RIP)
M3 Conv (feel the rays)
M3 Saloon (back in the saddle- yes)
325i M sport (my wife's idea)
Impreza STi V5 (cheap Jap power-great)

Couldn't agree with you more.

I'll do another poll on how many RS4 owners have radar detection equipment installed, I think you'll find it very high, hence the high no points result
Mint Optic Pack saloon in Daytona Grey (Now sold)
B7 RS4 in Sprint Blue (Gone to a very good new home)
Evo V1 (wish i'd kept)
Numerous M3s

That's not cynical at all - the truth is that cameras are purely about revenue generation and have nothing to do with reducing speed.

The Talivan that caught me last week was round a bend about 200 yards after one of those signs with built-in radar that is supposed to light up if you are going over the limit BUT that sign has been there for nearly 5 months and has NEVER worked.

If they REALLY wanted people to slow down that sign would have been working from the day it was installed. To have a non-working sign and then site a Talivan just after it gives mixed messages.

I live in London - tons of fixed sites, never see talivans, otherwise my result would be much worse I reckon
