My car seems to have developed a tendency to scrub out the inner 20mm of the front tyres. I have just replaced a set of tyres, the fronts were down to the canvas, which was rather alarming as the rest of the tyre was worn but generally fine. It’s pretty tricky to regularly monitor the tyre wear in the very inside edge of the tyre given the width.
Is the Audi 4 wheel alignment the only way forwards with this, or are there other systems that can do a similar job. Local dealer says £150 for a tracking session which seems a bit steep!
4 Wheel Alignment
RE: 4 Wheel Alignment
Maybe worth having a look at APS in Brackley who have the equipment to do this from about £70

RE: 4 Wheel Alignment
Just had mine done at Newbury Audi fro £99 + VAT. The car tracks a lot better now, especially with new non-buckled wheels.....
