How to take a log ?

Post by S25MRS » Tue Apr 22, 2008 8:43 pm

I've got a couple of recurring DTC's on my RS4 B5 - still..... 17831 & 17819. I know the definition of these - Secondary Air Injection System, Insufficient flow - boths banks 1 & 2.

Question is, I'd like to do a 'log' as I've seen on here so some kind soul might be able to tell me if my MAF is on the way out or not. But I don't know how to do it. Is there instructions somewhere on here, or could anyone let me know what to do please?

These codes flash up regularly now, almost weekly, but only after I've been driving for about 20 mins or so..... I thought the secondary air flow system only ran for a few minutes after start up when cold?

Anyway, if anyone can point me in right direction with ideas or instructions how to do my 'log' ( ) I'd be grateful.

Cheers
