Where's a good place to buy short lenghts of wire?

I'm needing to do a bit of wiring on my car next week as i'm installing heated seat controls.

Can anyone think of a shop where you can buy various lengths of wire?

Don't want to rely on somewhere like B&Q, only to find I have to buy a minimum of 100m lengths.

3m sounds perfect, and I'll be driving passed a Maplin on the way to my mate's unit.

I'll need two gauges, but I'll take a small length of the existing wires to get that sorted.
