All booked, Eurotunnel and Houx this year, can't wait. You on MB again?

Bleu Nord. How did you get tickets for Houx, I had my application for tickets for numbered spaces in Houx in with the ACO on the first permissible day last year and they still only offered me Houx Annexe until I created a fuss, did you buy through an agent.

Got the Houx pass off Brian at 1st Tickets. It's an unallocated reserved ticket, if that isn't an oxymoron. So, I don't know what the pitch number is until I get there, but there definitely is one there for me. I think these one's are usually at the end of the lines, but that's where I was in 2006 and it was fine. Brian had an MB camping pass for me, but didn't really like the site last year so swapped it for a Houx one. Looking forward to the relative tranquillity of Houx (if you don’t count several thousands of raw horse-power passing a few hundred yards from your tent).

Park up near the exit if you are leaving on Sunday after the race, it took us forever to get out of Houx last year.

Going this year with the R8 and Camping at Maison Blanche (carrying the tent might be fun!)

There are about 10 of us in our party, so you are welcome to join us for a beer or 10

Cheers for the tip Paul. I'll hopefully be away before the race finishes to avoid the bun-fight.

Might see you there Jon. Which route you going and when? If you're on MB then just watch your valuables, particularly once the race has started and the security has disolved.

Doing the old "sit up the road listening to Radio Le Mans" ready for a hot getaway. Are you catching a Eurotunnel shuttle on Sunday or stopping en route. I can recommend a good chateau.

Something like that. Getting the Eurotunnel on Sunday evening.

Do you know if Audi are doing the rather agreeable Chateau stop-off on the way down this year Paul? Unfortunately, I went down on the Wednesday last year and so missed it as it was only available on the Thursday and Friday. Going Thursday this year so can take advantage if they are doing it.

Is the Chateau happening this year from Audi - I have not seen anything posted yet?

Jarv - have PM'd you re route - just don't want to give it out here as it may attract the wrong type - remember what happened to Ken about 3 years ago

I must admit I am a Porsche man despite owning an RS4 which is why I also have a 1973 2.7 Carrera RS, and want to see how the Spider RS's will get on this year. That being said, I have a conflict between Audi's recent sucesses and Porche's outright record of 16 wins at the greatest race in the world....Jarv, you will find me as usual at the champagne tent on Saturday PM.... JonP, we did not take up Audi's hospitality last year because not all my friends were in Audis but we always stop at a chateau on the way back on Sunday for a proper wash and brush up, together with a quality meal. We have done a few over the years, so where you are thinking of staying, let me know, and I'll float a suggsetion.

It's the classic this year for us. The crew got a bit bored of repetition so we've pushed our boyz weekend back a month.

Good news = got into the pit crew bar ( drinks a fraction of the regular price )
Bad news = went in the wifes A3 TDI as the RS4 was laid up at QST
