i cant understand this back order, so many garages are saying back order and some have got them the next day, how is that possible, beyond a joke, for all that cant get the shocks due to backorder and are willing to cross the water go in to belgium or germany as they are readily available and the work will be ten times better than the uk

Car has done 42000km on original shocks, Tracked 4 times in that period.

Not even going to bother with Audi if they go. I know they will just stuff me around anyway.
This kit will be going straight on . http://www.stasisengineering.com/Catego ... 95&PID=171

This suspension is just plain awesome. Ran the same setup on my S3. Driving was more comfortable and the car was flawless. On the track gained 3 seconds a lap after fitting it. If you went too hard and hit the ripple strips flat out the car did not budge off the line. Just unbelivably good.

Pull the front wheels off, look at the top of the shock unit. The inside of my arches were plastered in mud (live in the country) and the mud was dry. The oil shows up very easily. Pull up the bellows-shapped rubber boot to confirm there is a leak.

I don't think you can see the area well enough with the wheel on, but once the wheel is off, the area is visable, and a diagnosis should be pretty easy.

Otherwise, take it to a dealer and ask them to check 'em.

Had the front changed by one dealer in Switzerland, but job not finished. Had Audi in Germany finish the job, pressurisation, now all is fine.......for now. Still love the car even more than my last B5 RS4.
