Nipper, not seen you around. Seen a black Avant at the Frozen Mop in Mobberley, and followed one with a 666 reg number into Bramhall at the weekend. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Have you got a similar plate on the C4S? I'm normally out in a MX55- plate Cayman S.

Jackwood, I don't have the C4S now (looking to get the facelifted 997 later in the year though), but when I do it has reg of my nickname NIPPER.

Nipper, let us know if you get the 997. How do you like the S5? An RS5 may tempt me out of the Cayman.......

Any one know if there is any where in Scotland to get the Good year eagle Assymetrics 275/30/19ZR 96Y at Tartan Rob's price or close to that, I would like to try them out and now would be a good time as my Pilot 2's are gonna be slicks soon :)

I got the Asymmetrics from tyrexpress.com. Can't see them on their website now but give them a call, they may just be temporarily out of order. Very helpful.

As for scrubbing, I have none on my saloon, and I have SS+, but as you say, the Avant may have different shaped arch..?
I have just tried them but they dont reccomend using the 275 30 profile tyre on the RS4 :!: they even said that i should check with my insurance company before fitting them :?:
I think i may stick with the PS2's as the current set have done 27k miles!!
Is there a particular type of PS2 suitable for the B7. I have been quoted £220 for "the standard" extra load and £238.24 for the CPJ prefixed tyre which is reccomended for the RS6 apparently.

I have continentals and they are brilliant. I had an E46 M3 and went to the ring with them and once they got a bit sticky they were fantastic.

Sorry to say, but mine came from Audi with Continentals on and I would best liken them to "run flats" as hard as nails, put PS2`s on 275/30 and much better. Just mu 2c worth.

I've just got back from Micheldever having had 4 Goodyear Asymmetricals 275/30 R19 96Y XL fitted - and they were proud how many they have sold to members on here! No mention of any concerns at all...

Price has gone up slightly to £726 for 4 - still better than the quote I got for Michelin PS2s in 255/35 R 19 96Y XL which was £1020!!!
