Since we go on the Off-Transporter road, I think the record goes for the 2,800 owners-to-be who saw their BMW/Saab/Volvo go down with the Tricolor in the North Sea last december.
Might have been some M series and other cars with long waiting list.

Imagine placing a deposit 1 year in advance for your car and just a week before delivery (and Christmas btw), your salesman calls you and say : "hum, I know it's hard to believe but your car is at the bottom of the sea..."

Did anyone see the news when we all had those floods.. I am sure that there was a silver RS6 avant up to it's waist in water.. must have been a write off [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
