That has gone up a bit!!
I got mine off them 2 months ago for 10 quid. Can't you just buy the bits on their own?? Like....

You can get all the parts from VW. VAGPARTS look like they are marking that up in exchange for the buyers convenience.

Hi guys, i've made my attempt at this and all went well till i've tried to remove the switch. It was absolutely solid. I tried for 15 mins to pull it with pliers,grips and all. Any ideas? mcuh appreciated. ta

Mine was pretty well lodged in place.

With the clip off it's just a case of pulling as hard as you can. The O-ring will be well seated but once it starts coming it will just pop out. I recall I used a pair of grips on mine.

They can be a right b-tch to get out , soak with wd40 and struggle they corrode, mine took me a good 30 mins to destroy and remove.

Yep 30mins sounds right

When i started mine, I wish I hadn't....infact after 15mins or so I was going to leave it in situ!

Mine was well and truly rusted in.

I prised mine with a long flat blade screwdriver as I didn't want to use grip on it incase I needed to re-use it on that day!
