Is there anyone on the board who knows of someone who successfully imported an RS2 to the US? I have fallen head over heels in love with RS2 and have started the process of speaking with importers. Can anyone on the board give me some hope?
Thanks
Eric

Airbags
Thanks Tom, I did find one importer who made me optimistic. One question they had for me regarding safety features which I was unsure of. Does the RS2 have either/both driver and passenger airbags?
Thanks
Eric
Thanks
Eric

Will mine has both so i would asume the rest do.
RE: Airbags
It is possible. Presumably you'll be looking to source a LHD from somewhere like Germany?
Have a read of this over on S2forum : http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26534
Although it's an RS2 project build, it does address the problems of getting such a vehicle titled, licensed, and DOT approved in the US. How tough are they on this sort of thing in Washington State?
Good luck with it
