The spec is K04's, RS4 Airbox/MAF/Y-pipe, RS4 intercoolers and pipework, APR Bipipe, 660cc injectors, phenolics, very noisy 044 pump (sounds like when you've got the shits), RS4 decatted downpipes and 'Meltek' single.

Unfortunately my laptop battery died, so I couldn't log boost or IAT's, but I was hoping for something closer to a calculated crank value of 420+.

How do you calculate crank bhp/torque figures from those given at the wheels?

Next time i'm going to lay my rear seats flat!

MRC custom remap.

Actually just looked at Viperbl's plot ( http://www.rs-4.com/cars/rs4/dyno/viper ... apping.JPG ) as I remembered he'd used Awesome's dyno before and was also running an MRC map.

Plot shapes are very similair, from the sharp peak in torque to the dip in power at 6k, despite his plot being done on his RS4 engine!
They both look very different to the other K04 car plots here ( http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... ight=plots ).

Side mount intercoolers always suffer in Dyno with only one fan, your probable 20 BHP down on what it would show on the road if there is only one fan....The heat damage on the rear bumper is similar to the damage on mine which was caused by the extraction system on a dyno.

Julian and I have very similair spec cars. The last time he went on the rollers he got 415@crank and 350@wheels, 495ftlb torque!

Where's all my lovely torque gone? Maybe it's time to tweak that N75 screw

You can only compare on the same day with logs or a dyno matey.

I was hoping to get up there today but ran out of time. My car would have been a useful comparison for you.

We could meet up before the next northern meet & log them to compare if you like ?

I don't think you have any big problems though

Aside from the turbo oil return pipe leak, the coolant pissing everywhere, the tyres rubbing the arches, the jerking when coming off the throttle, the gypsy curse on the car... I could go on all day.

I'll take you up on that offer thanks David, providing Grizz can get the parts to sort the coolant leaks in time for the meet.
Would appreciate it if you could take mine for a spin to see how you think it feels in comparison to yours as well.

I hope that one of these days i'll be able to go back to :kissmyrings:. I've been :audibash: far too long!

Thunder I'm back in the broken club with a few issues, that will prob need an engine pull, I think that will be 5 or 6 in the last 3 years. I know your pain. flying round the ring in the beast will fix all

Hi Scott, it was good to meet you at the Awesome rolling road day yesturday. Me and Matt were well impressed with your S4 and it should encourage him to go for bigger things with his ! We got a few servicing things to do yet.

Shame you have such bad luck with yours, hopefully things will get sorted sooner or later. I didn't realise your exhaust melted the bumper ! I'm quite glad Matt's bumper sits different and theres a fair amount of fresh air around his Miltek dual !

Good to meet you too Scott. I missed the bumper too! Bugger! As for laying your seats flat, I thought they already were, they did when I went out in it!
