24 Days! It has been 24 days since I droped off my RS4 for its first scheduled maintenance. 24 days since they ordered a new ECU for my car and still there in not one single one to be had in all of north america.

What was the update for? I don't think they flashed mine when it went in.

The dealer did not say what the update was for, but my guess is that it was just a refinement of the engine control software. It may be a function of when your RS4 left the factory in Neckarsulm Germany. My RS4 arrived in Seattle Washington in January of 2007. I don't know the exact date of manafacture since the dealer is holding my vechicle.

It only took 31 days for University Audi to do the first scheduled maintance, and all I got was the service manger saying "Sorry about that". Oh yea they also did a crappy vacuum of the interior and washed it about as well as a 40 year old dirve through. I am test driving an M3 tomorrow.

The update i was told is to resolve issue of an false engine fault coming up is for all 4.2 ltr engines i will have to wait till my EGR kombi valves are replace and will ask to check basic resets and see if the car is back to it's old self
