There seem to be some scratches on the crank, I can see the "main" grooves, but there do seem to be some that are not consistent ... anything to worried about???

Could these be caused by overloading / wear of the thrust bearing? Great pictures by the way keep them coming!

ok, thats the engine officially stripped!

Here are some pictures of the crank, but, firstly, here is one of the main bearing shells, seems a little bit missing out of it, anything to be worried about?

I think I might try and get the block acid dipped??? get it all cleaned up nice and easily!!

Oh, anyone know how I can post pics with just a thumbnail, make it a little neater rather than loads of big pics???

looks like some debris got into the baring! Not sure how or why.

Yeah, something has gone into that shell. Make sure the crank isn't scored.

Lol, just spoke to my mate, he recons we might be able to fit the block in the dishwasher!!

I dunno! but, worth a try!!!??! LOL!!!

The garage I use out here said I can use their cleaning tub, so might go and give that a go first!!
