Porsche Seats
Re: Porsche Seats
Mo,
can I suggest that you first do a bit more research on them, and second, try posting to a porsche forum such as flatsix, or rennlist.com
For example:
are they comfort or sports seats (sports seats have bigger side boulsters, 'wings' up near the shoulders, either carbon effect or painted plastic backs, and are not front/back electrically adjustable), and
do they have the porsche crest on the headrests or not.
I also assume they are late 993 turbo4 seats, and not early 996turbo4 seats.
All of these make a big difference to the price.
They also may or may not be heated.
(I have a set of late 993 sports seats looking fro a new home as well )
Depending on condition, colour and type they could be worth anywhere from 200 quid to 2k. Navy is not the best of colours for price (Grey fetch the most, then black, then tan, then blue).
HTH.
Cheers,
John.

Re: Porsche Seats
JohnW, what colour are the 993 seats? I have a friend with a 964 C4 who is looking for replacements.
Re: Porsche Seats
The pair I have are black with plastic backs painted yellow (the backs matched the car they were in). They could of course have their backs painted to any colour to match the car for not very much.
They were removed from a 97 993, and should bolt straight in to a 964 (996 or boxster seats will not).
Give me a pm if you want more info. I am open to sensible offers, and will discuss ballpark figures privately.
Cheers,
John.
