She was gorgeous don't get me wrong, but as a driving experience I posted this on one of the other threads;
I loved both the Porsches I had, but especially the 996 Cup - looks, acceleration, noise...... but when it came down to it, trying to get the max enjoyment out of a car, on the extreme, my RS4 won hands down every time. I always had a feeling that the 996 was a better car than I was a driver, and could snap back at any time, and that for me took the fun out of it. With Noggy I could take her to the limit and still feel safe at 'silly' speeds.

Had the chance of a 964RS a while back (even wilder than the Cup), I absolutely love these, but my experience in the 996 put me off..... that's why I have to do the RS4 thing again, but a bit better this time me thinks
Plus you couldn't park it on the road as the bonnet didn't lock, she didn't do speed ramps (mind you Noggy didn't either :roll: ), my dog wouldn't fit in, and you didn't get those hooks in the back to hang up your jacket......

IMHO the way to go for 'me' is an RS4 again, but this time "done real proper" so to speak, with none of the compromises I made back in '02/'03 :wink:

Back on topic, I think there could really be a market for dry carbon for the S/RS, especially when you see some of the tat about nowadays :(

Cheers,

Andiroo

Couldn't resist one more pic or two :D
