Anyone retrofitted an RNS-E or D into a RS2?

I am planning to do this conversion, and I'm researching the net for parts and tips on how to do it. I have ordered some adapters and a new Audi 90 front console to be customized and fittet to the RNS before I exchange it with the one in the car.

Anyone done anything similar?

i would also like to do this at some point,but it means that i will have to loose the boost gauge to a digital one...
