Some new pics of my Cab

Post by Love_iTT » Sat Feb 09, 2008 10:22 pm

We had some fabulous weather today so I managed to take a few new pics of the Cab when we went for a drive and a walk at one of our local nature reserves.

No. I must admit that looking at some of the RS4's with SS+ I wish I had ordered it for the looks but when I ordered this I thought it looked low enough without the SS+ and I didn't want to sacrifice the comfort for the looks. However, reading some of the posts on here then some seem to think that the comfort isn't compromised.

You live and learn I guess.

Lovely pics Graham, the car is looking really stunning.

In my experience, SS+ certainly does compromise the ride comfort. This is more noticeable on crap roads such as the ones we have in London. The handling advantages are marginal at best after my extensive test drives on both standard and SS+ setups.

In my view, on normal roads, it would be pointless having SS+ (except for the lower look). There may be a slight advantage on track but then to really improve the handling characteristics one would be far better off with an adjustable coilover setup (e.g. KW etc).

Subjectivity is hard to debate - especially around words like comfort and compromise...

Let's just say that most people are happy with their choice!

Lovely pics Graham.

SS isn't available as an option on the cab anyway.
Cheers,
