Is there anybody who's tried Nitros on a 4.2 N/A V8 ? If not why not?

nitrous is the way to go on a n/a engine, big hp and torque gains for little outlay,on a forced induction engine you would see much more than 75bhp due to the increased cooling effect of the nitous cooling the intake charge,im just fitting nitrous to my s4...

i totally agree with bret...

ive been useing nitrous for about 8 years now on all my cars ..

our golf r32 i run 150 shot on the standard internals still.. and it will leave pretty much anything off the lights...

we are going to be building a 4.2 v8 turboed engine to go into satans child for next years drag racing...
and i will run at least a 500 shot of gas into it .

nitrous is a very safe thing to play with if you cover your ass with internals and a good fuel supply ...

the guy who is building the chassis for satans child runs a normally aspirated enging with a 1000 shot of nitrous

so the answer is............... go for it mate

That fire was caused by a loose fuel pipe after the engine was refitted after a gearbox change .
