fit a APR by-pipe the tap in to water jets, one at each side ( intercooler ends) of the by-pipe. I am running 7mm jets with 50/50 mix. made so much difference when the car was running RS4 IC's. Still makes a differences with the FMIC, but IMO it is must with side mount units..

Problem with water injection is as someone pointed out, if you do not check it regually enough, your likely to run out. Some tune with water off, but then you dont see the full benefit of water injection.
Anyone tried a charge cooler?
V Mounts are a very good option, front mounts although cool your charge, cause the rads to get hotter as you are obstructing the air flow, and if you want more power you will get higher running temps. Anyone tried a V mount?
You can get meths here.

Be very careful playing with meths,
It burns clear, so you cant see if alight, and if mixing it needs to be reasonable well measured out as different mixes can make big differences in tuning AF's.

Richard at aquamist has developed a flow gauge that not only monitors the amount of water being injected but also has a float for the water/methanol bottle that cuts the water spray when it gets low and informs the driver via the gauge.

I do sell them but dont want to upset the mods or anyone on here although i will be taking advertising up on here soon!

i had fans fitted to the back of my intercooler on my drag car. only used them after a run and just before a run. If you have them on while your driving it will actually make the car slower due to the extra current draw! I also used nitrous to cool the intercooler but again only just before the lights go green, its a waste of nos to use it all the time. We used the waste of the purge valve that you should blow out anyway before using it. Otherwise the first second or so of nitrous going into the engine is a gas and not liquid which is bad.
