Hi Guys,
Just wondering if there is any benefit on adjusting the wastegate actuators to be as tight as possible on the RS4/RS6 turbos in the aim to hold more boost in the upper rpm range?

Turbo Actuators Adjustment ?
RE: Turbo Actuators Adjustment ?
You can adjust these to add more preload to the spring in the actuator. But you want to make sure you still get the full range of movement to the wastegate otherwise boost control might become a problem. Really these are for fine adjustment to balance both turbos and should be done by a specialist.
Log the N75 duty cycle on vag com and see what it is running at high revs. If it maxed out (100%) Then the best way (i think) to get more boost is to change the springs in the actuator for some stronger ones. The std KKK spring is 100NM, they do a 132NM and 160NM spring.
I don't know what turbos or boost your running. It all depends on how efficiently your turbos are running at the moment and if it's a good idea to push them further. You might also want to consider what effect forcing more gases through the turbine side will have on back pressure in the exhaust manifold and egts.
I am in the process of trying this myself!
